Our history

Stability since 1997

Fiskarheden Komponenter (formerly Sälen Timber AB) was founded in 1997 by Fiskarhedens Trävaru AB, Lima besparingsskog and Transtrands besparingsskog. With a component factory, they wanted to expand, find new markets and cooperate in a new way to get a better yield from the forest’s important raw material.

Since the start, we have operated in the area of Fiskarhedens Trävaru AB and in 2021 Fiskarheden became a full owner. In 2023 Sälen Timber AB changed its name to Fiskarhedens Komponenter AB.
